Valois, Agnes V., 69, of Quincy passed away suddenly on January 5, 2016.  Devoted mother of Carol Verde of CA, Cynthia Costello and her husband Michael of Norton, Alan Verde of FL, Christina Cavender and her husband Shaun of FL, Patrick Valois and his wife Sarah of FL and the late Richard Valois.  Loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren.  Sister of Gerald Cavanaugh of Canton. Agnes also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Agnes worked as a construction electrician, she was one of the first women to work for Local Union 103.  She also worked for the MBTA for 10 years.  Agnes had a strong love for animals, especially her dogs, she also loved to read and spend time with her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass for Agnes on Saturday January 16th at 10AM at Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock St. Quincy, MA 02170.  Visiting hours will be held at the Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock St. on Friday from 4pm to 8pm.  Interment following Funeral Mass at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 920 Adams St. Dorchester.
