Carol Anne Ennis, aged 70, of Braintree, MA passed away on May 14, 2016 surrounded by loved ones.  She was born in Columbia, SC on July 19, 1945 to Charles Malpass and Catherine Chestnut Malpass. She graduated from Summerville High School in Summerville, SC and earned a BA from Harvard University. She was married to the late Daniel Albert Ennis of Boston, MA on January 20, 1968.

The deceased is survived by six children, Ann Marie Guptill, Daniel James Ennis, Jean Helen French, David A Ennis, Amy Jo Huber, and Kimberly Lee DeLisle. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jad Ramsii Guptill, Jared Matthew Guptill, Katherine Rose Ennis, Caroline Claire Ennis, Catherine Marie French, Theresa Elizabeth French, Fionn Luke  Ennis, Isabelle Louisa Ennis, Stephen Michael Rehm, Michael David DeLisle, Daniel Christopher DeLisle, and Abigail Kathleen DeLisle, and two great grand children.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM on Monday May 16, 2016 at The Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock St. Quincy, Ma 02170. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army of Quincy, 6 Baxter St. Quincy, Ma 02169.
