Gerald Crimmins

February 21, 2017

Crimmins, Gerald Francis ("Jerry"), following a valiant struggle with metastatic cancer, on February 21, 2017.  Beloved son of the late Mary A. (Charnley) and George F. Crimmins. Brother of Maureen Crimmins of Quincy and the late Kathleen Crimmins Gardner.  Also survived by his sister-in-law , Kathleen C. Whooley, and niece, Julie Hong, both of Quincy.

Although reared in Watertown, Jerry spent every summer in Hough's Neck, Quincy.  He moved to North Quincy in 1998, and in later years relocated to Waltham.  An avid Boston sports fan, "J.C." was an excellent bowler for Waltham's Sons of Italy candlepin team.  Bowling, current events and yearly vacations in Laconia, N.H., were his favorite pastimes.

Caregivers, neighbors and friends are welcome to attend Jerry's Memorial Service, to be held at 2:00 p.m.Saturday, April 8th, at All Souls Unitarian-Universalist Church, 196 Elm Street, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's memory to Renewal House, 10 Putnam Street, Roxbury, Ma. 02119, would be gratefully appreciated.
