Murphy, John J. of So. Wey. Formerly of Roxbury passed away Dec 10th.  John was an Engineer for Boston Edison for 39 years and was a Veteran of the US Army.  Husband of Annette (Cahill).  Cherished father of Mariette Stokes of Quincy, Jeanine Murphy of Dorchester and John T. Murphy of Beachmont.  Grandfather of Kaylene, Noelle and Shane.  Brother of Francis, Kevin, Maureen Murphy and Kathleen Scanlan all of Boston, Daniel from PA, Joseph of Hanover and Michael Murphy of Norwood.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10:30 AM in the Sacred Heart Church, Quincy.  Burial will be private.  Donations may be made in Mr. Murphy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472 or Alz.org.
