Maurice R. Horrigan Jr. passed away on Jan. 6 after a long battle with cancer.  He is the son of the late Maurice and Mary (Walker) Horrigan.  Beloved brother of Mary of Quincy, Richard and his wife Mary E. of CT, Fr. Kevin of Dartmouth, Ruth Apicella and her husband Anthony of NH, Jane Clougherty and her husband Joseph of Braintree, Helen Cicoria and her late husband Michael of Wareham.  Uncle of Maryellen RI and 9 other nieces and nephews. 

Maurice attended St. John the Baptist Grammar school in Quincy, Maurice was the first graduating class of Archbishop Williams High School, Boston College, Portia and Suffolk Law Schools.  For many years he was an assistant Clerk of Magistrate at Quincy District Court.  Maurice was a lifetime resident of Quincy.  A member of the Quincy Lions Club and the Quincy Knights of Columbus.  He traveled and Skied all over the world.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10:30 am in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy.  Visiting hours Monday 3-7 pm in the Lydon Chapel, 644 Hancock St, Quincy.  Burial Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
