Richard Paul Cleveland (Butchy) passed away peacefully at his home in Quincy Massachusetts on Sunday, January 7th, at the age of 57.
Richard is predeceased by his lifelong partner of 45 years Owen Clements and maternal grandmother Mildred Cahill Reynolds. .
Richard will be forever lovely remembered and missed by his Mother Norma Furgal; Sister Norma Sellier: Sister Jacquelyn Cleveland; Sister Stephanie Furgal and loving nieces, nephews and other relatives as well as his furry kitty kids Dora and Coco.
Richard was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 11, 1960. He graduated from Rockland high school in 1978 and went on to serve in the United States Army for three years and was stationed in Hamburg, Germany.
Richard was the epitome of an artist. His life was his art. He was a very funny comedian and loved performing and make people laugh. Richard enjoyed singing especially Broadway and classical music, (he was amazing) creating beautiful drawings, collecting nostalgic art, antiquing, old time movies and spending time with his family and friends and furry kids.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the Funeral Mass for Richard on Friday February 2nd at 10am at St. Ann's Parish Church, 757 Hancock St. Quincy MA 02170. Interment will immediately follow the service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
