Lydon, Carol A. (Moriarty) of Quincy died on June 27th with her family by her side.  

Carol was the loving mother of John “Jack” Lydon and his wife Jacqueline of Quincy, Michael of Dorchester, Susan Lydon Morrell and her husband Kenny of Quincy, Kevin Lydon and his wife Anne of Mansfield, Maura Gallagher and her husband Jack of Weymouth and Amy McDermott and her husband Chris of Quincy. Wife of the late John W. Lydon. Grandmother of 9 cherished grandchildren Roxanne, Patrick, Jonlyn, Mikayla, Molly, Jake, Seán, Meghan and Brigid. Sister of Francis Moriarty and his wife Regina of Middleboro.  Carol was also survived by many beautiful nieces, nephews and friends. 

Carol will be long remembered by the YMCA, Kennedy Senior Center and the Department of Defense where she worked for many years.  She loved to travel with friends and her faith and family were very important to her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday July 1st at 11am in St. Joseph's Church, Quincy. Visiting hours Friday from 4-8pm in the St. Joseph's Church, 556 Washington St., Quincy.  Burial will be private.
