Mom I miss you so much. Christmas was not the same. Little things remind me of you. It's almost been 6 months since you became an angel. I know I am suppose to be strong. You weren't the typical mother. We were best friends. We told each other everything. We had the best time going to the mall, out to eat, the movies, party's, music concerts. You were my partner in crime. You made me the person I am today. But I am missing a piece of my heart. It was awful to see the disease take everything away so fast. It wasnt fair to see you suffer. Please continue to watch over us. One day we will be together again. I love you always xxxoooo

Hi Mom I miss you so much. It was my first birthday without you. I thought about all the birthday party's you had for me as a child. And as an adult. Last year we were at chili's celebrating with my wizard of oz cake you got me. You would be so proud of dad. He came over and gave me two beautiful cards with scratch tickets.One that made me cry. Christina gave me a beautiful card also with a mini card with a sentimental saying. We had a pizza party at home. My cake was a kit Kat cake and m&m's. It was yummy. I know your watching over us. I just wish I could just have had more time with you. You were an amazing mom. My memories of us makes me happy. We had an amazing relationship. Christina starts 10th grade tommorrow at Woodward. She is growing up. You did a wonderful job helping me raising her. She is kind and thoughtful. She has great friends. Love you mom xxxxooo

It's hard for me to find the words that I want to say... I didn't know Kathy very well... with hindsight I really wish that I had gotten to know her better... but even just from my friendship with Lisa I know that she was one of the best moms that a person could ever wish for. She wasn't just Lisa's mom, but truly her best friend, something that is so rare today. I'm so grateful that when I last came back to Quincy a couple of years ago that I was able to visit her, and sit down in her home and chat with her, even though it was only briefly. Although life goes on, the world won't be quite as bright of a place without her love in it. Rest peacefully Kathleen... you will forever be missed.

We were so sad to hear about Kathy. I have known Kathy for 58 years!!!!
We became friends when we attended Brighton High. We always Laughed.
That is what I will remember about Kathy. We would see each other all the time from the day we meant in high school and started in the workforce.
