Margaret "Mags" Walsh

Walsh, Margaret “Mags” (Moran), 56, of Braintree, formerly of Quincy passed away December 30, 2018 after a courageous 20 year battle with cancer. 

Loving mother of Anthony and his wife Vivienne Walsh of Weymouth.  Wife of the late Kevin Walsh.  Devoted daughter of Mary Moran of Ireland and the late Thomas Moran.  Beloved sister of Martin Moran and his wife Mary, David Moran and his wife Barbara, Tommy Moran and his wife Anne all of Ireland.  Mags also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, including her extremely close sister-in-law and brother-in-law Christine and Joseph Casserly of Milton. 

Born and raised in Galway, Ireland, Margaret moved to the US in 1985 to start her family and build her career.  Mags worked for Boston Scientific for many years as the Account & Material Management Coordinator.  Mags will be remembered as a strong, brave, intelligent and loving woman who will remain in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Visiting Hours on Wednesday January 9th from 4pm to 8pm at the Tirrell Room, 254 Quarry Street in Quincy. Margaret will be interned at a later date in Ireland with her family.
