Gougian, Mary T. (Parrow), of Squantum, passed away peacefully on July 5th at the age of 84.  Born and raised in Cambridge Mary became a nurse at the Holy Ghost Hospital before marrying the late John A. Gougian and becoming the mother of Greg Gougian and his wife Susan of Pepperall, Gary Gougian Retired U.S. Navy, Greta Ferriera of Taunton, Gloria Rizzo and her husband John of Squantum. Both a grandmother and great-grandmother, she was especially close with her grandsons John and Paul Rizzo who whom she lived.  Mary Retired as being Director of Elder Services at Beachwood on the Bay.  She was always an active member of her community; she constantly volunteered and was an active church member at the Star of the Sea. 

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside Celebration of Life for Mary on Monday July 10th at 1pm at the Pine Hill Cemetery, 815 Willard St. Quincy, MA 02169.  

In lieu of flowers Mary has expressed that she wishes you to take a friend to lunch and enjoy the friendship they have.
