Richard J. Cimino, of Quincy, died October 17, 2018. Devoted husband of more than 36 years to the late Gail (Nelson) Cimino. Father of Diane and Sharon Cimino. Dear brother of Marie Cimino, Robert, William, Frank, John, and the late Joseph Cimino. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends.
Richard worked for 24 years as a welder at the Fore River Shipyard. He was also an assembler and solderer in the plumbing industry with Symmons Industries in Braintree for 20 years. He enjoyed the times he and his late wife spent traveling the country and taking road trips. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist, and enjoyed many years attending the St. Anthony’s Festival.
Visiting hours Monday Oct 22 from 4:00-7:00pm at Hamel - Lydon Chapel & Cremation Service, 650 Hancock St, Quincy. Funeral Tuesday morning beginning at 9:30am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. John the Baptist Church, 44 School St, Quincy.
