Richard “Rich” Robbins, 57, died October 25, 2018.
Born in Danville, PA Rich came to Massachusetts after high school, and was a 1983 graduate of Eastern Nazarene College, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business. He has made his home in Quincy ever since.
He was a long-time, active member of Wollaston Church of the Nazarene, where he served on various committees. Rich was a respected Banker with State Street Bank in Boston, where he worked in the commercial division. He was also an avid golfer, a competitive ballroom dancer, and sports enthusiast. He was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Patriots. He enjoyed hunting and always looked forward to returning home to hunt and to spend time with his loving family.
He was the loving son of Dorothy (King) Robbins and the late Clinton Robbins. Dear brother of Stephen Robbins and his wife Joyce of Danville PA and Valerie Hazlip and her husband Trent of Stillwater OK. Cherished uncle of Alicia Drake and her husband Josh, and Jared Robbins. Great uncle to Savannah and Logan Drake, all of Danville, PA.
Visiting Hours tomorrow, Wednesday October 31 from 6:00-8:00pm at Hamel-Lydon Chapel and Cremation Service of Mass, 650 Hancock St, Wollaston. Funeral Thursday at 10:00am in the Wollaston Church of the Nazarene, 87 E. Elm Ave, Wollaston, MA 02170. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the church at the above address.
