Carol Ann (Cox) Mazuy

On September 17th, 2023 Carol Ann (Cox) Mazuy passed away peacefully at the age of 81. She had suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease. Carol was born in Boston, MA. She graduated from

Boston College in 1964 and later went on to obtain a master’s degree and doctorate. Carol began her career as an educator but found her niche in software technology and marketing throughout the years of 1980-2000.

If you knew Carol, you were sure to have been swept up in one of her creative ideas. Just to be in her presence could make one feel like they were part of something

important, she emanated power and possibility. Carol was an avid fan of traveling, and made her way around the globe, learning from others’ cultures and sharing her big energy

and equally large heart. Carol was creative and had an effervescent personality, she brought warmth to all the people she touched. She was a founder of Colibrí Partners

Foundation, a group that helped children and families in need in the Dominican Republic. Carol was an avid painter, she enjoyed sailing, and spending time with family and friends. Carol had a

wide circle of loved ones who were like family, she will be missed by Diogenes (her ice cream man) as well as many others. Carol had many animal friends in her lifetime, and she leaves Milan, her faithful chihuahua behind.

She is survived by her children, Kelly Williams of Norwell, MA and Sean Dolan of Hanover, MA. Carol also leaves behind three grandchildren; Anderson C. Williams, Samarie C. Williams, and

Rilee E. Dolan. Carol is predeceased by her husband Jon C. Mazuy, her parents Beatrice L. Cox and Williams J. Cox, as well as her siter, Constance L. Bozic (Cox). She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Dr. Stanimir Bozic; step-children,

Katherine Mazuy and Christopher (Kip) Mazuy; and nephews and nieces; Vladimir Bozic and Alex Bozic; and Pamela Mazuy Dale and Gregory Mazuy.

There will be a celebration of life service for Carol on a date next August (2024) so that all her loved ones can be in attendance (date TBA).
