John E. Sullivan, Jr. “Sully”, 87, A longtime Quincy resident passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022. Sully was born in Cambridge, MA on June 3, 1935, to the late John E. Sullivan, Sr., and Mary (Whalen) Sullivan.

John is survived by his daughter Annie Sullivan of Quincy along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by the love of his life Madeleine A. (Mackertich) Sullivan, his wife and the beautiful mother to his only child, Annie. John was an avid musician and superb athlete as well as a popular beach goer. Sully was a member of “Over the Hill Club” of Nantasket Beach for over 10 years.

John was a proud Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict Period.

Sully’s Life will be celebrated privately by his loving family and friends.
