Richard "Rich" T. Jones

Richard “Rich” Jones passed away on August 25, 2026, at Framingham Union Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Framingham, Rich lived in Ashland before his family relocated to San Mateo, California, where he resided from 1966 to 1979 prior to returning to Massachusetts.

He was the beloved son of the late James and Mary Jones. Rich is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Jones; his sons, Robert and Peter; his sister, Kim Loring, and her husband, Richard; and his nephews, Trevor and Eric. He will also be deeply missed by his dogs, Zaylee, Maple, and Krispy, whom he fondly considered his "grandchildren."

Rich was the longtime wine specialist for Natick Wine & Spirits. An avid and proficient golfer, his greatest joy was spending quality time with his family. He especially cherished family vacations, which included trips to amusement parks across the country and a memorable cruise to Hawaii.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rich’s name to the Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, MA.
