McCallum, Daniel, 74, of Hanover, formerly of Quincy passed away on Tuesday, December 27th.  Daniel was the devoted husband for 43 years to Irene McCallum (Albertazzi).  Dedicated father of Danny Mike McCallum and his wife Susanne of Whitman, Diana Skwierawski and her husband James of Taunton, and Elise McCallum of Taunton.  Daniel also leaves behind his three grandchildren Eric, Mikey and Emily. 

Dan served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Filene’s basement for 36 years and TJ Max for 10 years.  He loved fishing, baseball and hockey.  He loved watching his grandchildren Eric and Mikey playing sports and he also enjoyed picking up his granddaughter Emily at her bus stop every day.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass for Daniel on Saturday December 31st at 10:30am at St. Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock St. in Quincy.  Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-8pm in the Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock Street.  In lieu of flowers donations may be in Daniel’s name to the DAV, 85 Willow St., Malden, MA 02148.  For more information and online condolences please visit www.lydonchapelforfunerals.com.
